"The Don Melchor has been hailed by both the Wine Spectator and Robert Parker as the best Cabernet Sauvignon out of Chile, and I must say, I concur. Full-bodied and dense, with rich, ripe fruit, and notes of vanilla and tobacco, yet elegant, with restrained alcohol and muscular tannins. Great balance and complexity; I was still thinking about it hours later! Though we enjoyed it thoroughly now, this wine will continue to drink amazingly for the next decade or so.
